krsailfish (previously sailfishing.com.my), is a international fishing tour agent that promote responsible and ethical sailfish or billfish fishing activities in Kuala Rompin, Pahang, Malaysia.

We specialize in sailfish fishing in Kuala Rompin not anywhere else. We organized sail fishing activity through- out the year (Mid-February – End November) for Malaysian and non-malaysian. Our friendly anglers come from United Kingdom, United State, Australia and Asia.

Obviously some anglers are also keen to catch other type of fishes (Snapper, GT, Barracuda, grouper, amberjack, mackerel and etc), which are abundant and thriving around Kuala Rompin sea.

Kuala Rompin is renown as Asia Capital Of SailFish, hence it’s the responsibility of everyone to protect the survival of this lovely species and the livelihood of operators (boatman, skipper and other operators) and the vibrancy of this lovely coastal town. The abundant of sail Fish (Mid February – End November) shouldn’t be taken for granted, as the stock has experienced declining trend and often being caught in a trawlers’s net and dead.

As a result of over fishing in South America, the amount of Sailfish has depleted over the year. We are dreadful to see same situation happening in Kuala Rompin.

We strongly encouraged catch and release, and do not overly stress the fish during photo taking session. The fish need to be released slowly back into its nature.

krsailfish provides an avenue for anglers to charter for our service, (All in the package – Boat, skipper, transportation, accommodation and meals), know more about Kuala Rompin, its prize sailfish , ways to get there, Sail fishing season, type of accommodations  to be found, booking of sail fishing boat and fishing guide and other general information about Kuala Rompin.

We provide pick-up and drop-off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT – AirAsia), Subang Airport (Firefly, Berjaya Air and private jets), anywhere in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (Klang Valley) and anywhere between Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Rompin.

Besides getting anglers to enjoy the thrill to and fighting spirit of sail fish,  we are strongly responsible to ensure all the sail fish that are being caught are being released back to the sea in a proper manner. We banned and not taking any irresponsible anglers or fishing enthusiast that don’t play by the rule. We are socially and environmentally  responsible for the survival and sustainability of this prized fish.

The owners of this site are Malaysians and hailed from Kuala Rompin, and frequent travelers, we welcome any enquiries about logistic, getting around, weather, foods, accommodation, culture, language and others, as well about Malaysia generally.
